This series of pandemic devotionals are designed to be daily (we hope) podcasts we will run over the course of this COVID-19 pandemic. Each episode will publish at the beginning of the day. Each episode will provide a brief summary of the major news about the pandemic for the day and then a short Biblical devotional aimed to strengthen our listeners in the midst of the crisis. Feel free to share these episodes with your friends as they become available.
Dr. Malachi Nichols leads this morning’s devotional with JB Shreve and the End of History and looks at the idea of maintaining relational proximity and togetherness in the midst of a pandemic that requires social distancing and quarantining.
Hebrews 10:23-25 — Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. (NLT)
