In today’s podcast devotional JB Shreve looks at the themes of freedom inherent to our July 4th weekend and traditions and a biblical perspective of freedom. Most of our notions about freedom and liberty are not actually related to freedom at all. They are lawlessness. The Bible speaks clearly about God’s will for freedom in our lives but freedom is not what we usually think it is. It’s not what society, the media, and even many churches tell us it is. Following that wrong path to freedom is actually very dangerous.
